The Levitt Residence is located at the top of Mount Olympus development, an exclusive City of Los Angeles residential community. Due to its hilly location and the opportunities to share the valley views, the house has been designed placing all the living quarters at the second level and protecting its privacy by the existence of an articulated architectural fence that masks the interaction between the front yard and the street.
Hillside setting and the expansive valley views, the design strategically positions all living spaces on the second level, maximizing panoramic vistas while preserving privacy.
An architecturally articulated fence serves as both a visual and spatial threshold, seamlessly integrating with the façade to mediate the relationship between the front yard and the public realm, ensuring a refined balance between openness and seclusion.
